"On the Private International Law"

Provisions of this draft will apply to private legal relationships in the events when:

• one of the parties to a legal relationship is a foreigner or a stateless person;
• legal relationship relates to a thing located outside Ukraine;
• legal relationship arises, changes or terminates outside Ukraine.

Provisions of this draft will be applied to private legal relationships:

• to determine the law to be applied;
• to determine civil procedural capacity of foreigners, stateless persons and legal entities;
• to exercise intellectual property rights;
• to carry out contract obligations;
• to determine jurisdiction of Ukrainian courts over disputes;
• relating to inheritance;
• relating to family law (marriage, termination of marriage, adoption);
• to execute court decisions;
• to recognize and execute in Ukraine decisions of foreign courts.
