"On Amendment of Articles 230, 231, 235 of the Customs Code of Ukraine"

According to the current legislation of Ukraine, resident enterprises have the right to import and process foreign goods without application of measures on non-tariff regulation thereto, provided products of processing are further exported.

The number of operations related to processing goods at Ukraine's customs territory is not restricted. However, if a resident enterprise intends to authorize another enterprise to perform some processing operations, such enterprise shall obtain a permit from a customs body.

The draft envisages providing resident enterprises with the right to decide upon the issue related to participation of such combining enterprises in processing of foreign goods independently, without customs bodies.

The draft, if approved, will permit simplifying the procedure for processing give-and-take raw materials on Ukraine's territory.
