“On Amendment of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On the System of Currency Regulation and Currency Control”

Pursuant to this draft, banks and other financial institutions, which have general licenses of the National Bank of Ukraine authorizing execution of foreign currency trade-related transactions, will not be able to open foreign currency exchange outlets in Ukraine on the basis of agency agreements concluded with other legal entities.

Adoption of this draft law will substantially reduce the number of foreign currency exchange outlets in Ukraine.
