Draft Law of Ukraine

"On Amendment of Article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "On State Regulation of Production and Circulation of Ethyl Alcohol, Cognac and Fruit Alcohols, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Products"

The draft suggests prohibiting circulation and use of excise duty stamps of previous design used for marking alcoholic beverages and tobacco products until their full use.

The draft, if approved, will:

• contribute to enforcement of state control over production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit alcohols, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products;
• correspond with implementation of the unified state policy in the field of production and circulation of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products;
• create proper conditions for increasing volumes of legal production of the above-mentioned goods, protecting public health.
