"On Amendment of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Natural Monopolies"

According to the draft, bodies regulating activity of subjects of natural monopolies shall take into account information on activity of a subject of natural monopoly when passing decisions on such regulation. Such information shall include data on results of open hearings related to changes in prices (tariffs) for goods of subjects of natural monopolies. The above-mentioned information shall be provided by associations of consumers, subjects of natural monopolies and other concerned persons.

The procedure for publishing information and holding open hearings on changes in prices (tariffs) of subjects of natural monopolies shall be determined by bodies, which according to the Law of Ukraine "On Prices and Pricing" are responsible for approving or regulating prices (tariffs).
